FAQ

(Frequently Asked Questions)

What does your pricing include?
Makeup application includes false lash application, airbrushing (upon request), and a lip touch-up kit. I style hair only and it excludes hair shampooing and cuts/trims.

How long are trial sessions?
A hair and makeup trial session typically averages between 2-2.5 hours depending on how many hair and makeup styles are requested.

Will the makeup last through the night?
With the use of skin primers and makeup setting sprays, your makeup will mainly last through the day and into the night. At most, with the help of oil-blotting sheets and a dusting of loose powder, oils will be kept at bay and freshen up the face. I also provide lip touch-up kits as champagne drinking, eating and (kissing!) throughout the day will not guarantee lasting lips.

For those with combination to oilier skin types, after a 6-8 hour period, no amount of product will combat the oils your t-zones will produce. Your option is to book additional time for me to return to the wedding site for a touch-up.  This is the most opted scenario.

What makeup brands do you use?
My kit is primarily stocked with professional, high-end brands such as Make Up For Ever, MAC, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Becca, theBalm, Anastasia Beverly Hills, RCMA, Ben Nye, Eve Pearl, etc. However, I don't discriminate against budget-friendly but great brands such as NYX and Colourpop.

Do you have assistants working with you?
Depending on how many people in your party (bridesmaids, moms, relatives, friends etc.) request hair and makeup services,  I will typically have at least one (or more) assisting artists joining me. The artists are all professionally trained by A-List Makeup.
